How do you simplify your life? Good question. Bottom-line, it is recognizing what makes your life feel rich, full and rewarding while letting go of that which drains you. No one but you knows what that looks like. If you aren’t sure what is right for you, ask yourself this one key simplifying question:

Does this person, activity or thing give me energy and make me feel good
or does it drain me mentally, emotionally or physically?

This question is designed to bypass the linear mind, the part of the brain that justifies why you have this person, activity or thing in your life. Sometimes the answer is very clear – I love this and I’m keeping it forever, or
Get this out of my life now! – and other times the answer is unclear. If the answer is unclear, ask yourself, “What part of this works for me and what part doesn’t?” How can you keep the portion that is rewarding and change the portion that doesn’t work? Yes, I know, it sounds good in theory–so how do you actually do it?
