Consulting Testimonials
I was immediately impressed with Linda’s understanding of my needs and problems when we began, and since that time, my respect and appreciation of her talents has only increased. She truly listens to me first and then offers a couple of possible solutions to my dilemma. In the short amount of time that Linda has been working with me, my business had doubled and I know that I could not have done that without her.
Phil, Consultant
I am amazed and impressed Linda. She never advocates getting rid of things that are meaningful to her clients, but rather assists her clients in discovering what in life is most meaningful to them, without judgment. I cannot recommend her more highly and I have recommended her often!
Susan, Nurse
Linda has an innovative and enthusiastic way of approaching any problem. Whether she is rearranging your furniture or rearranging your life, her intuitive outside the box approach leaves you breathless with the simplicity yet spot on accuracy of her inspiring solutions.
Linda not only hears what you say but also listens with a problem solver’s ear. Her broad knowledge of learning styles gives her the unique ability to set aside the idea of “one right way” to do something and, instead, to fully utilize her client’s own personal strengths to develop insight to their problems.

Kerri, Writer
With your guidance, I have faced and resolved cobwebs of organizational disarray from the past 25 years as a consultant. Why would anyone do this on their own when they could work with you?
Jill, Consultant
As a busy trial lawyer, no one could be more conscious of having to know right where to find things; from stationary, to items of evidence, to that brilliant brief I did two years ago. Linda, you’ve been such a help. I wish I’d known to retain your services year ago. Thanks so very much!
Joe, Attorney at Law
You certainly left your imprint on me–in a very positive way and I’m so thankful that I have you in my life

I blend consulting with coaching. As a Consultant, I bring in expertise on a variety of subjects; as a Coach, I help you find your own answers and hold you accountable. Combining the two, along with my understanding of patterns of human behavior, we find ways for you to move ahead that are most likely to result in success.
• Simplification & Organization
• Small Business Management & Marketing
• Non-Profit Management
• Product Development & Written Works
• Professional & Personal Betterment
As a Consultant/Coach my greatest strengths are that I understand patterns of human behavior and can simplify what you want into easy to understand terms that produce results. I don’t have to have knowledge on the specifics of the subject you are talking about, as I ask a lot of questions to get a basic understanding of the obstacle, which is typically a human behavior.
What An Obstacle Might Look Like
• You don’t know where to begin
• You don’t know the next step
• It looks too big and you don’t know how to break it down
• You don’t have enough information to make a decision
• You don’t have the authority to do the job or make the decision
• You don’t have the desire to do the activity but someone/something said you need to do it
• You don’t have the finances to do what it is you want to do
• It conflicts with your values
• You hate doing that type of activity
• Habits
• Other people’s opinions stop you
• You don’t fully understand what is expected of you
• You need a deadline with someone other than yourself to get you motivated
Together we will figure out what you need to help you move forward and how to do it.
Consulting is where I bring in my expertise on the subject. Coaching is where I help you find your own answers. I use a blend of both so we can find the best solutions for your needs.
I am often asked what kind of coach I am; A Business Coach? A Life Coach? A Success Coach? An Inventing Coach? The truth is, I am a Chameleon Coach, as I change my style of consulting and coaching to meet your needs and what it is you hope to accomplish.
I specialize in four areas:
1) Overcoming obstacles
2) Identifying the next steps to take in a process
3) Walking people through and easing transitions
4) Simplification
It has been my experience that the biggest obstacle individuals and businesses face is not being able to identify the next steps to take. Most have a good idea of where they ultimately want to end up, but the actual process involved in getting there has many paths and roadblocks en route. Oftentimes, an outside perspective brings clarity to the situation.
Appointments vary depending upon your needs and if it is a phone or an in-person appointment.
Phone appointments
• You call me
• 1 hour in length
• We start by a) having you identify what you hope to accomplish or b) sharing what’s on your mind and, together, we figure out the session priorities.
• Next we talk about the details of the subject and discuss specific ways to get the results you want. This takes the form of me asking you several questions and/or sharing my expertise. We explore various options to help you move forward.
• We identify the next steps, come up with a specific plan and discuss if you would like to use me as a source of accountability.
• Finally, we recap the plan and set up the next time to talk, where appropriate.
In-Person
The in-person appointments follow the same basic structure of the phone appointments with the major difference being that we have the option of doing hands-on work. There is a minimum of 2.5 hours for in-person appointments, which usually gives us enough time to work on the project in detail and accomplish much more than over the phone. If it is outside the Minneapolis area, the length of the appointment time is expanded and travel fees apply.
There are basically two types of Consulting/Coaching relationships; structured and unstructured. A structured relationship includes a certain number of sessions over a defined time period and the type of support the client will receive. This doesn’t work for me, nor does it work for the type of clients I like to work with.
I prefer an unstructured Consulting/Coaching relationship. We set up appointments based upon your needs. Some clients like work together one-time per month to help them stay focused, produce results and so they know they have someone available to assist them with whatever comes up. Others work with me in bursts to get them through a particular situation or project. We might have several sessions one month and none for the rest of the year. What matters most is that when you need a Coach or a consultation, you have someone available to connect with.
The fees for my services are typically hourly. For half or full-day sessions and/or when travel is involved, the fees vary.
